Dance project with Johan van de Berg en Jeffrey Bax

This project began back at the later stages of 2005 with the first meeting of singer/songwriter, Laura Wood and bass player extraordinaire, Jeffrey Bax. The two of them spent many long hours working together, taking ideas and playing around with them until they finally settled on 10 songs that they wanted to record for this album. Up until that point there had only been the 2 of them, so Jeffrey called on his long time friend and guitarist Brian Quite, who was more than happy to join the two of them. Keeping it real and alive was of the utmost importance so with only a handful of rehearsals under their belts they went into the studio to record. As for the drumming … well Jeffrey is also an accomplished drummer, although that did mean recording with no bass initially!
